Broad Beach
Broad Beach is yet another stunning beach in southern Queensland. It is a wide beach stretching for 2 kilometres that faces to the east, so the quality of surfing here is moderate. A deep gutter runs parallel to the beach about 5 meters out, which is fantastic for generating big waves but can be dangerous for swimmers. Children should be closely monitored when swimming here.
Along the foreshore is a boardwalk, an undercover picnic area and gas barbeque facilities, children's playgrounds and a duck pond.
